Tyler Dowd is a guitarist, solo artist, and scientist out of Sacramento, California. Implementing aspects of Thall and Djent, he makes modern progressive metal and is always looking for new sounds and technology to introduce into music. With an 8-string guitar and Celtic 16-sting lyre he mixes the modern power of low tuned extended range guitars with the resonance of ancient melodies.
