We're building a tool that lets you hear what any AttakPik sounds like on your guitar — before you buy it. Your recordings are the key ingredient. Every comparison clip earns 5 entries to win my personal Abasi 7-string. Drawing April 30th or at 1,000 submissions — whichever comes first.
Grand Prize — Mike D.'s Personal Guitar
Abasi Larada 7-String
This is my guitar. Not a sponsorship. Not a partnership prize. This is the instrument that produced every sample on our Sound Analysis page. I'm putting it on the line because what we're building matters that much.
"Comparison clips earn 5 entries each. Single AttakPik clips earn 1. Submit 4 comparisons and you're in with 25 entries."

// What We Need
Two minutes. That's it.
We're training a model that lets players preview any AttakPik on their own guitar. Your paired recordings are what make it possible. Play anything — a riff, a chord, a scale. Record it twice: once with a regular flat pick, once with your AttakPik. Same thing, back to back.
1
Play something with a flat pick
15–30 seconds. Any riff, any guitar, any amp setting. Phone recording is fine.
2
Play the same thing with your AttakPik
Same guitar, same settings, same riff. Just switch the pick.
3
Upload both clips
Drop them in the form below. Tell us which pick you used. Done.

// Rewards
Every submission counts.
The more you contribute, the more you unlock — plus every clip is another entry for the Abasi.
Yes. Prop your phone in front of your amp and hit record. We're capturing the difference between picks, not studio-quality audio. The spectral contrast shows through any recording method.
What should I play?
Anything. Open chords, a pentatonic run, your favorite riff, a simple strumming pattern. The only rule: play the same thing with both picks, back to back.
Do I need a DI box?
No. DI recordings are great if you have the setup, but phone recordings through an amp work perfectly. We accept everything.
How does the Abasi drawing work?
Every paired comparison clip = 5 entries. A single AttakPik-only clip = 1 entry. Submit 4 comparisons? That's 25 entries. Drawing happens April 30th or when we hit 1,000 submissions — whichever comes first.
What are you building with the recordings?
A tone preview tool — hear what any AttakPik sounds like on your guitar before you buy it. Your paired recordings train the model that makes it work. Without real player data, it can't exist.
Are the rewards real?
100%. $10 credit at 3 clips is automatic. $25 at 9 clips is automatic. The weekly 50-pack drawing happens every Friday. And yes, that's Mike D.'s actual Abasi on the line.
