Kaelen Sarakinis

Kael Seitan (Kaelen Sarakinis) is a transgender composer and musician from Montreal, recognized as one of the few visible trans men in the metal scene. As rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the symphonic metal band Catalyst Crime, he helps shape their blend of orchestral grandeur and aggressive modern metal.

Kael has relied on Attakpik for the last few years, a choice that defined the tracking of Catalyst Crime’s second album. His performance drives the band's sound, where his relentless riffing and crushing attack define the record's weight and energy.

Beyond the music, Kael's presence offers crucial visibility for transmasculine musicians in heavy music; proof of creation, resilience, and uncompromising identity on stage and in the studio.
