Took about 30 seconds to get used to— it actually DOES make a 6 string sound like a 12 string.
Great selection of picks suitable for various genres of music. Particularly taken with the ambush and attak, both excel at livening up boxier sounding guitars with limited high ends, teasing out bigger sounds from parlour guitars and strings that are perhaps past their best. I modified one of them by Shaving down one side of the pick and leaving the tip structure intact on the other side and was very happy with the results, being able to add and remove the extra impact depending on context, and to emphasise the higher strings on an upswing. Particularly good on a twelve string.
Both stealth varietals are my go-to picks for bass guitar and heavy-picking guitar, and the surge being great at keeping low tunings lively.
In terms of durability, all are holding up well after many many hours of vigorous use, save for the ambush, which has some minor warping, though as I modified it, that’s on me.
Overall, I was thrilled with the selection and will absolutely be picking up some spares for further use.
