Timothy “Tim” Evans is a New England–based guitarist for Lone Wolf James, known for a hard-hitting style rooted in thrash and hard rock and shaped by decades of live performance. He began playing in his mid-teens and quickly found himself on stage with his first garage band, Scimitarr, alongside future frontman Gary “Lone Wolf” James, sparking a musical connection that would come full circle years later. Tim went on to perform in multiple bands across a range of formats and genres while also becoming a strong supporter of the local music scene, creating over 400 promotional flyers for bands large and small. In the early 2010s, he formed Trouble With Tim and became a fixture on the New England club circuit, frequently crossing paths and sharing stages with Lone Wolf James at venues including The Middle East (Cambridge), Copperfield’s (Boston), and The Raven (Worcester). In late 2019, Evans officially joined Lone Wolf James, where he was given creative freedom to craft guitar parts that fit the band’s sound and ethos, adding precision and edge to their live and recorded performances. Outside of LWJ, he remains active with instrumental rock projects and his solo heavy metal endeavor, CAYUSE.
