Ricky Armellino is a music producer, songwriter, guitarist, and singer from Lancaster, Pennsylvania with a collective 56 national tours under his belt. Currently performing in Ice Nine Kills as a rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist and singing/producing his band HAWK, Ricky has both produced and performed all of the instruments on records for record labels including Fearless, Thriller, Sumerian, Victory, and many others. As a producer first, Ricky is a huge believer in using proper fretting/rhythm technique to enhance the sound quality of recordings and has been featured twice on the Riffhard podcast to discuss the importance of drilling.

The Surge has a bit more flex and can work equally well with acoustic or electric, great for more aggressive sounds
The first time I used the Surge II was with my Takemine jumbo acoustic, it projects well as it is but the pick took it to another level. With electric it to an overdriven sound and added a good amount of aggressive attack
