At just 13 years old, William Colyer is an emerging guitarist from Monterrey, Mexico, with an extraordinary passion for modern metal. Having picked up the guitar only a year ago, William has progressed at a remarkable pace, developing the technique and discipline to take on music from bands such as Landmvrks, Knocked Loose and Zao—while already beginning to write and create music of his own.
For William, guitar quickly became much more than a hobby. Music became a language, a creative outlet, and a driving force in his life. Fascinated by metalcore, deathcore, alternative metal and all kinds of modern metal, he spends countless hours practicing, studying his favorite players, experimenting with sound and pushing himself toward the next challenge.
Music also runs in the family: his father was part of Mexico's Christian rock scene in the early 2000s, giving William a musical heritage he is now forging into something entirely his own.
William's goal is clear—to build a life around the guitar and become a professional musician. Becoming part of the Acoustic Attak Artist roster marks an exciting early chapter in a journey that has only just begun.
