SURGE

A more aggressive take on a "standard" pick, Surge adds grit and distortion-like effect to your sound.

  • Introduces a greater level of immediacy to the attack of each note.
  • Produces a cool top end on attacks and sustains without anything feeling too piercing.
  • Delivers more clarity to each note by cleaning up and tightening the lows and low mids.
  • Takes overdriven pieces to another level and generates an edgy, growling tone on bass.
  • Works well with all styles, but particularly energizes heavier genres.

The Science
Every AttakPik model features a patented surface structure that interacts with the string differently than an ordinary pick — creating richer harmonics, better grip, and more dynamic range.

A little more flex than the Surge II

The Surge has a bit more flex and can work equally well with acoustic or electric, great for more aggressive sounds

Aggressive pick

The first time I used the Surge II was with my Takemine jumbo acoustic, it projects well as it is but the pick took it to another level. With electric it to an overdriven sound and added a good amount of aggressive attack

Surge is a great fit for acoustic

I first ordered the Attak and Ambush as a pack for playing on acoustic. They sound great but add quite a bit of friction, making strumming really difficult. The Surge is a much better fit for campfire-style players, like me. Very happy with the purchase.
